The investment seeks as high a level of current income as is consistent with prudent investment management and preservation of capital. The fund typically invests at least 80% of assets in investment grade fixed income securities and related investments and at least 80% of the value of assets in corporate debt securities and related investments. It also may invest in U.S. Government securities and U.S. dollar denominated fixed income securities of foreign issuers. The fund may invest in securities having any maturity.
