The investment seeks high rate of income exempt from federal income taxes. The fund normally invests so that 80% or more of the fund's net investment income is exempt from regular federal income tax or 80% or more of net assets is invested in securities that produce income exempt from regular federal income tax. It invests at least 80% of total assets in municipal bonds within the highest four rating categories of Moody's or S&P with maturities of one to 30 years.
