The investment seeks capital appreciation; current income is secondary. The fund invests at least 80% of net assets in common stocks and other U.S. traded equity securities of mid cap companies. U.S. traded equity securities may include listed American Depositary Receipts ("ADRs"). It targets companies with market capitalizations similar to those of companies in the Russell Mid-cap Index. In addition, to implement the investment strategy, the fund may buy or sell, to a limited extent, derivative instruments.
