The investment seeks long-term growth of capital. The fund invests primarily in the equity securities of small- and mid-cap companies, those with stock market capitalizations from $500 million to $5 billion. The fund normally invests at least 80% of its net assets in equity securities of such small- and/or mid-cap companies. Although the Fund normally focuses on the securities of U.S. companies, it may invest up to 25% of its net assets in foreign securities.
