The fund invests mainly in equity and fixed income securities, including bank loans, of leveraged U.S. companies that we believe have favorable investment potential. It invests mainly in small and midsized leveraged companies, although it can invest in companies of any size and in companies that are not leveraged. The fund may also invest in fixed income securities of other issuers, including mortgage-backed and other asset-backed securities.
