The investment seeks total return through the implementation of short investment positions on the S&P 500. The fund invests primarily in short positions with respect to the S&P 500 index (the ?index?) or specific index securities, backed by a portfolio of Fixed-Income Instruments. It may invest up to 15% of total assets in securities and instruments that are economically tied to emerging market countries. The fund normally limit its foreign currency exposure (from non-U.S. dollar-denominated securities or currencies) to 20% of total assets. It may also invest up to 10% of total assets in preferred stocks. The fund is nondiversified.
