The investment seeks to provide high current income while attempting to limit changes in the fund's net asset value per share caused by interest rate changes. The fund invests at least 80% of assets in bonds. It invests in investment-grade securities which are rated at the time of investment BBB or above by Standard & Poor's Corporation or Duff & Phelps Credit Rating Company or Baa or above by Moody's Investor's Services, Inc., or if unrated, those that the adviser determines, pursuant to procedures reviewed and approved by the Board of Trustees, to be of comparable quality.
