The investment seeks the maximum current income exempt from federal, New York State and New York City income taxes consistent with preservation of capital. The fund normally invests 100% of assets in municipal securities exempt from federal personal income taxes. It does not invest in municipal securities the interest on which would be subject to the federal alternative minimum tax on individuals and corporations. The fund invests at least 80% of net assets in New York municipal securities.
