The investment seeks high level of current income consistent with low volatility of principal. The fund normally invests at least 80% of assets in bonds, including money market instruments, adjustable rate mortgage-backed securities, and taxable and tax-exempt municipal securities. It seeks to maintain a duration of three years or less, although the duration may be longer than three years.
