The investment seeks high current income and total return. The fund invests at least 80% of net assets in preferred securities, and at least 60% of which rated BBB/Baa or higher by at least one independent rating agency, or if unrated, judged to be of comparable quality by the funds investment advisor. It invests up to 35% of net assets in U.S. dollar-denominated securities of non-U.S. issuers and up to 10% of net assets in other open- or closed-end funds that invest in similar types of securities. The fund is nondiversified.
