The investment seeks to maximize current income, consistent with preservation of capital. The fund normally invests at least 70% of net assets in highly rated securities. It invests up to 25% of assets in foreign securities that are dominated in U.S. dollars. The fund may invest up to 15% of assets in securities of foreign issuers that are not denominated in U.S. dollars. It may invest up to 10% of assets in emerging market foreign securities.
