The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation. The fund normally invests at least 80% of net assets in companies associated with emerging markets designated from time to time by the Investment Committee of the subadviser. It also may invest up to 10% of total assets in shares of other investment companies that invest in one or more approved markets.
