The fund normally invests 50-60% of assets in equity securities selected primarily for their growth potential and 40-50% of assets in securities selected primarily for their income potential. It normally invests at least 25% of assets in fixed-income senior securities. The fund may invest in foreign equity and debt securities, which may include investments in emerging markets.
