The investment seeks total return. The Fund primarily invests in securities of domestic and foreign issuers that the portfolio manager believes provide attractive opportunities for appreciation or investment income. It may invest in value-oriented common stocks, convertible securities and virtually risk-free U.S. Treasury Bills. The fund may also utilize certain "arbitrage" strategies which can be described as investing in "event" driven situations such as announced mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations.This fund is nondiversified.
