The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation. The portfolio invests all of assets in the Japanese Small Company Series of the trust. The master fund generally may purchase a broad and diverse group of readily marketable stocks of Japanese small companies. It does not intend to purchase shares of any company whose market capitalization is less than $5 million.
