The investment seeks long-term growth of capital. The fund normally invests at least 80% of assets in equity securities of companies that are tied economically to countries within the Pacific Rim. Many of the countries in which the fund invests are emerging market countries. It intends to invest in securities of issuers located in at least three Pacific Rim countries.
