US couple's live 'lip-dub' wedding proposal video goes viral

New York, May 28 (ANI): A Portland actor showed his extraordinary romantic side when he got together 60 of his friends to propose to his girlfriend through a live lip-synced version of the Bruno Mars song 'Marry Me'.

A YouTube video of the proposal, which took place on Wednesday, has already become an online hit with more than 300,000 views, the Daily Mail reported.

Isaac Lamb popped the question to his girlfriend Amy Frankel in what he has billed as the "first live lip dub proposal" - an elaborate, choreographed dance routine that has already been viewed over 1.5 million times on YouTube.

Set to the song "Marry You", the act features roughly 60 of the couple's friends and family members dancing and lip syncing through the streets, culminating in Lamb getting down on one knee.

The video starts off with Lamb's brother seating Frankel in the back of a car with a pair of headphones as he tells her he wants her to listen to a song.

"This song really tends to exemplify you and Isaac's relationship - it really does to me," the New York Daily News quoted Lamb's brothern as saying in the video.

"So, here it goes," he said as Frankel laughs.

In the video, as the car moves and the couple's friends start to come into view, the video shows a picture-in-picture shot of Amy laughing, clapping and getting emotional as the routine goes on.

Though they are both actors, Lamb has said that he didn't make the video imagining anyone he didn't know would see it, and he couldn't believe how widely it had been shared.

"To be honest it's a little overwhelming. I'm really, really, really touched by how positive people's reactions have been," Lamb told The Oregonian on Saturday.

"The love I genuinely feel for my fiance has touched other people. I never expected this and I'm really amazed by the response. My intention was never to make a viral video," he added. (ANI)
