New Delhi: Indian private sector lender IndusInd Bank has appointed R S Sharma as additional director on the board of directors of the bank, it said in a regulatory filing.
In the past, Sharma has served as the chairman and managing director of Oil and Natural Gas Corp Ltd (ONGC), India's largest oil and natural gas explorer.
He is also the fellow member of the Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India and an associate member of the Indian Institute of Bankers.
IndusInd Bank's board of directors consists of Chairman R Seshasayee; Managing Director Romesh Sobti; and Alternate Director Y M Kale, among others.
Shares of IndusInd Bank Wednesday ended at Rs 302.15 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), down 1.08% from the previous close.
