Mr. Choothira Krishna has come out with a novel way of looting the public. I understand that the chairperson of UPA has announced to all the ministers in the coalition to come out with "Novel" way of looting the people of India. The best idea is rewarded with a free holiday in Italy and ofcourse a promotion, a swiss bank account and a govt. post after their retirement.

by imposing this additional tax there congress will give a birth to another Kalmadi , Kannimoli, Raja or Maran Brothers, Absolutely no use to public citizens .We didn't demand metro in our vicinity. taking such a decision without people's consent is such a stupidity .It's a high time we need to overthrow the UPA Government. If the politician really want money let them sell their wife and daughter in bazaar instead of imposing such tax on innocent peoples.

I would have loved paying more if the money comes back for improving the infrastucture for the URBAN areas which is far cry.

Instead of this why they could not use Indians Swiss unaccounted money?

Oh yes, tax the tax payers who's tax money has been used to build the metro system in the first place. Great.

Not innovative it is to generate more money for the political class to push out money abroad in so called tax heavens.After some days even to walk out side your home you will be taxed.Since after all this rich and the corrupt people are the ones using the hard earned tax payers money for their personal upliftment.

I think the UPA Government always thinks about different ways to impose tax on people and not a single way to make India better

It is totally not appropriate. What is the relation between property tax and metro??? There is small story. There was a Naaii Master Saab, beating to the children at school without any significant reason. When he was out of the school children were throwing pebbles on him. He was coming home and beating to his wife, asking her that why you asked children to throw pebbles on me.
The same way this proposal works. If they want to generate more income, allow Hotels, Restaurants, Rest Rooms, Lodges, Shopping Malls Internet Cafes, Gyms, etc. which will generate more income for Metro, and so many people will also be deployed, and businessmen will get benefited, and passengers will get facility.

Absolutely absurd suggestion.
