According to the data released by NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net sellers of Rs 86.73 crore in index futures and options segments on Thursday, June 21, 2012.
FIIs were buyers of index futures to the tune of Rs 122.11 crore and they sold index options worth Rs 208.84 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net sellers of stock futures worth Rs 96.32 crore while they also sold stock options worth Rs 81.67 crore.
Cumulative FII positions as percentage of total gross market position in the derivative segment as on June 21, 2012 is 32.41%.
