Agrium falls despite weather

The top N. America fertilizer firm's Q1 EPS rose 28%, to $1.32, a 33-cent beat. Sales grew 23% to $3.63 bil, on strong farm retail and crop nutrient sales amid good weather. But Agrium (AGU - News) shares fell 1.7% in a wider sell-off of commodity stocks.
