NEW YORK (AP) — A look at the 10 biggest volume gainers on New York Stock Exchange at the close of trading:

American Strategic Income Portfolio : Approximately 88,600 shares changed hands, a 615.2 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $.09 or .9 percent to $11.00.

EV TaxAdBd&Opt Fd : Approximately 313,400 shares changed hands, a 715.8 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.09 or .5 percent to $16.67.

Harry Winston Diamond Corp. : Approximately 2,192,200 shares changed hands, a 840.7 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $.12 or 1.1 percent to $10.93.

Hecla Mining Co. : Approximately 52,704,700 shares changed hands, a 624.1 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $1.23 or 21.1 percent to $4.61.
