NEW YORK (AP) — Shares of some top oil companies were down at the close of trading:
Chevron fell $1.29 or 1.2 percent, to $107.77.
ConocoPhillips fell $1.27 or 1.7 percent, to $72.01.
Exxon Mobil fell $.64 or .7 percent, to $85.08.
Marathon Oil fell $.50 or 1.6 percent, to $30.58.
