24/7 Media and Jumptap Offer Single Ad Buy Across Mobile and Online Screens

Industry-First Offering Enables Unique Cross-Screen Campaign Capability

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

24/7 Media, a global leader in digital media & technology, and Jumptap, Inc., the leader in targeted mobile advertising, announced today a break-through offering that will enable advertisers to reach their desired audience across mobile and PC-based online display in a single buy – a first in the industry.

Content consumption and task-related behaviors are fragmenting across screens at an unprecedented pace, and consumers are increasingly indifferent to the screen from which they garner information. By offering advertisers a two-screen opportunity, 24/7 Media (with a reach of 86 percent of internet users*) and Jumptap (with a reach of 85 percent of smartphone users**) are bridging the elusive gap between mobile and online media. The offering opens up new levels of scale and transparency in mobile advertising, allowing advertisers to deliver their message to users across screens including tablets and smartphones. This unified offering will help advertisers reduce the inefficiencies and waste associated with campaigns running across mobile and online display. As the product develops, cross-screen frequency capping and retargeting will reduce the media tax placed on marketers and consumers alike when a campaign reaches the same user more times than desired on multiple devices. In addition, tracking across both devices is unified, allowing for seamless integration of campaign learning data.

Through this expanded partnership, 24/7 Media and Jumptap bring the same level of control and transparency associated with online campaigns to the mobile world while also giving advertisers unprecedented access to desired audiences across devices. The cross-screen solution is being tested by a select number of beta advertisers. Full roll-out is expected for Q1 2013.

“We are delighted to provide advertisers with a new vehicle to bridge traditionally isolated digital media spaces,” said Nicolle Pangis, President, Real Media Group, a division of 24/7 Media. “Jumptap has been a clear leader and a great partner in the mobile space and with this market-leading offering, we are making cross-channel media buying available for our clients for the first time and making it simple.”

“The transition from online to mobile is not simple. Many advertisers face unneeded layers of complexity and difficulty in delivering, targeting and measuring ads,” said Adam Soroca, Chief Product Officer, Jumptap. “Our mobile and online integrations with 24/7 Media provide advertisers with a unique solution for the cross-screen world consumers live in.”

This new offering, which builds on a successful, long-standing relationship between 24/7 Media and Jumptap, is the type of revenue-enhancing innovation that advertisers and publishers have come to expect from 24/7 Media and Jumptap.

The relationships and technology disclosed in this press release may be protected under one or more of Jumptap’s issued and pending patents, including but not limited to, U.S. Pat. No. 7,912,458.
